A Few Great Exercises To Help You Lose Weight Fast

Losing weight can be a struggle for a lot of people.  They have tried workout machines. They have tried diet books and diet pills. But they cannot seem to get results, or at least the can’t get lasting results.

The problem is that most of the stuff for sale is a scam and just simply doesn’t work like the claims in the infomercials say.  If they truly did work, they’d have a ton more people talking about how great this or that product is.  The fact is, all you really need to do to lose weight fast is to focus on the proper nutrition, and exercising right.  These two things combined, along with dedication to see it to the end, is how you get true weight loss results.  While nutrition is definitely an important part of weight loss, I am going to focus on the other part and that is exercising.  Not all exercises are created equally, and there are definitely some great exercises that you can do to help you to lose weight quickly.  Here are two of my favorite exercise tips to help you lose weight fast.

Mountain Climbers

Mountain climbers are a great way to do some cardio, exercise your core muscles and abs, as well as give you some great body weight resistance for your arms.  You basically get down on the ground in a pushup position.  Keeping your back flat, and your arms extended, you’ll move your knees to your chest in an alternating pattern.  Do this for a few sets of 20 (each cycle of left leg and right leg is one rep).

Stairs vs. Treadmill

Walking up and down the stairs is a great way to get a good workout.  Running on the treadmill for extended periods of time doesn’t help you to burn fat because your body adapts.  Climbing stairs helps you to get some good cardio by changing up the pace.  You can climb up stairs two at a time and walk down one at a time.  This is a great way to get a good interval workout.  It will strengthen your legs really well.  You can also sprint up the stairs, and then walk back down.  Your body will be so busy trying to figure out if you’re running or walking, that it’ll just burn burn burn the fat.
